Six Reasons to Quit Your Day Job to Work From Home

Most everyone has thoughts now and then of quitting their outside jobs so they can work from home. After all, we can always find something we don’t like about where we work, the work we do or who we work with. Working from home can be a wonderful alternative. But maybe you’re just not sure. Even with the hundreds of work-at-home opportunities available today, walking away from a job you’ve had for a while, or that has become comfortable, is a big decision.

So how can you know when your reasons for quitting outweigh the reasons to stay?

1. Family Matters! If you’re paying half of your hourly wage for child care or you walk through the door after working all day and your kids don’t recognize you, it’s time to rethink your job situation. You work so your kids can have “stuff” but what they need most is you. Figure out whether more money is worth less time with your family. Working from home may be the perfect option for you.

2. Moral or Ethical Conflict. If your boss expects you to lie to land an account, fudge numbers on a report or do something else that points your moral compass in the wrong direction, you have a valid reason to remove yourself from that position. Most importantly, you’ll be teaching your kids that standing up for what you believe is honorable and maintaining your integrity is always the right decision.

3. No opportunity for Advancement. Are you stuck? Have you reached a place in your line of work where there is no more room for advancement? If you can’t see yourself doing the same old thing (probably at the same amount of pay) for umpteen years to come, it may be time for a change. And being home with your kids definitely provides opportunities for advancement every day!

4. Where’s the Challenge? The truth is, we only develop and change through the challenges we face. And if the challenge has been taken out of your job, so has your growth. Lack of growth is cause to consider replanting to another location (like home!) where you can bloom in new and glorious ways.

5. It’s not fun anymore. No job is fun ALL the time. But it should, at least, be enjoyable and satisfying most of the time. In fact, if you’re doing what you love to do, sometimes it shouldn’t even feel like work. If all of the fun has gone out of your job, and it feels too much like work every minute you’re on the clock, quitting to work from home may be a good choice for you. Being home isn’t all fun and games, but at least you’ll be able to take a break when you need a burst of fun in your day.

6. You’re burned out! If getting out of bed every morning is a chore (not because you stayed up a little too late the night before but because you dread going in to work) and you find yourself getting sick more often, it may be time to call it quits. No job is worth the stress and health-risks it’s causing to your body.

Maybe you aren’t quite ready to take the plunge and walk away from your job to work from home. But, at the very least, it may be time to reevaluate your work situation and figure out where to go from here. Quitting your day job is a big decision. But if you find yourself in any of the previous situations, it may just be one that’s necessary – and hopefully rewarding – for you and your family.

6 Rules to help you find out if the ?Work at Home? Program is a Scam

I’m sure you have come across the “work at home” earn “millions” in your free time, miracle advertisements. There are so many Internet “Gurus” pushing their wares now. How do you know which is the real McCoy? It is very hard to differentiate the real ones from the scam ones. Unfortunately a lot of “Gurus” are just simply copying websites, e-books and trying to pass themselves off as “Experts” when in reality the only thing their good at is plagiarizing.

Here are a few key elements to look for when trying to spot a scam vs. the real deal.

Rule no 1.  Make sure there is a valid contact page or email.

Always make sure there is a way for you to contact the person or company whether it is by phone, email or just a simple contact us form. Many times you will only see an Opt in page or “sign up for our newsletter” page. Make sure you see an email, and contact the person or company before you make a purchase. Sometimes online Contact us forms do not work or even worse could be just a phony html page.

Rule no 2. Always ask questions before you Purchase.

This is always a definite way to know if the person is in the know of things and actually does possess some expertise in his field. Ask specifics about how the program works and what type of after sales support they provide.

Rule no 3. Watch out for false claims of wealth and guarantee of Income.

No matter how authentic or excellent the program may be, no one can guarantee any specific amount to be made on these types of online jobs unless you’re paid by the hour! This is just not achievable, as it depends on the individual, the amount of time, effort and constancy he or she devotes to the situation.

Rule no 4. Every Online course ought to have an “Earning Disclaimer” page.

This is a disclaimer that is used to shield the company in question in case they were to be accused of “false promises” or guarantees of returns as we discussed above. Clearly if a company does not have this page then they do not plan on being around long enough to actually get in trouble.

Rule no 5. Check to see how long the person or company has been around.

This is a good indicator if the company is just one of those “Fly by Night” type of scam programs. A good standing company should be around at least more then 1 year in order to become reputable. You can run a search on “Whois” to see how long the website has been in operation.

Rule no 6. Do research on the program before making a purchase.

You can easily find out about the company by just searching on Google. Definitely you will see search results on the company and maybe even forum discussions on the authenticity of the company as other buyers may also be interested in the same program as you are. If you are lucky you will come across good reviews of the program and this will enable you to make the right decisions.

STOP! Before you spend another dime on scams and bad investments online, seek out the web sites and organizations that review the good business opportunities available on the Internet. Why just look at the reviews of scams and bad companies out there- those are too many to review. Over 85% of all the programs online fit this category. It would be much easier  to review the other 10-15% to determine the best in that group.

“A Shocking 81.6% Were Found To Be Scams!81.6% of the websites (141 out of the 173) ranked so low in our evaluation (an SRA Overall Value below 65%) that they were labeled as scams, i.e. absolutely not recommended. And this is just the tip of the iceberg! Our evaluation committee is putting together an extensive SRA findings report, which we plan to soon publish to expose the real extent of work at home scams and frauds on the internet.

What’s the reality? The reality is that the hopes and dreams of honest people trying to make a better life for themselves are being preyed upon and shattered, day-in and day-out.  Our latest findings indicate the average person looking for a legitimate work at home opportunity loses an average of ,785 to scammers’ pockets. And the time wasted, the grief endured, and the lost income you could have made while falling prey to such scams is immeasurable.

Here’s The Good News! 32 of the 173 websites we reviewed (18.4% of them) were researched, tested, and determined to be legitimate, safe, and to deliver on their moneymaking promises!” — Site Review Authority

There are some Work From Home Reviews that only address the bad ones. What about the web sites and online businesses that are legitimate and are making  people money. Should there be web sites and blogs that also represent the successful companies that offer excellent opportunities and great support? You bet!

There are websites and organizations dedicated to helping people find the best option for working from home. They go over each and every program listed and only the best work from home products will be listed there. The more stars the program has, the higher we ranked it on our list for profitability, easy setup and how long it took to setup the program.

Most are based on a five star system with 5 being the best score one can receive. Find these and then contact their customer service or support to test how they respond. You just want to find a “real” simple system to use to make some cash and start working from home like all of those other people are doing that you keep hearing about.

I get you, I understand. Because I was just like you just a few months back. Searching all over the net. Buying everything I could find on the Internet about making money online.

I would find myself spending 18 hours a day on the Internet just looking for a way to make money online! I would hardly ever sleep. Barely able to keep my eyes open at 4:00 AM; I would just crash from being so tired… Then I would wake up in the afternoon and start all over again!

Don’t Do Things The Hard Way. When “Life” Is Easy, You Enjoy It Much More! They’ve done all the hard work so you don’t have to. Save yourself a great deal of headache time and money by going to a blog and/or web site and check their references, i.e., the names of the authority and experts that they promote. How to Avoid Work From Home Scams

Wanting to work out of your own home is very understandable and these days many people are looking for full-time or supplemental income from a home based business.  But as lucrative as they can be, there are many work from home scams you also need to be aware of, since of course you don’t want to be taken in by one of these scams!  It can be difficult to understand the difference between legitimate opportunities to run a business from home and one that is not legitimate or even legal, since those illegal scams and schemes work very hard to make themselves seem legitimate.  So how can you tell work from home scams versus real opportunities?  While there are no guarantees of course, there are some simple things you can keep in mind in this regard.

First, remember that most work from home scams involve some type of fee that you need to pay up front, for which you get nothing in return.  If you need to purchase inventory in order to sell it to a customer, that’s one matter, but if you need to pay a “licensing fee” or “reseller’s fee” then you may need to be wary.  Why would you need to pay a fee to sell someone else’s product?  That makes no sense and is often the first sign of these work from home scams.  Many make most if not all their money from these types of so-called fees!  So if a company asks you to pay up front to register with them or to get packets of informational material or for anything other than a product you can resell, think seriously about the first sign of these work from home scams and move on to another company.

Also, many work from home scams claim that they will pay you to produce a particular product but often they send you materials and then reject many of the products you produce for one reason or another.  Home assembly jobs are notorious for this and this is a way for the company to get out of paying you what they owe you.  These types of work from home scams are abundant and may include jewelry making, small machinery assembly, and so on.  Again, be wary of companies that claim they’ll pay you to assemble things at home.  Why wouldn’t they be able to hire people to work in their location to do such a simple job?

While being wary of work from home scams you also don’t want to pass up legitimate opportunities as well.  Many people make a good living selling on the internet or freelancing from websites that hook up freelancers with those that need work done.  These types of arrangements are different than work from home scams as you’re working with real products and providing real services for real customers.  So even though scams and schemes abound, remember that there are many legitimate ways to work from home as well!

How To Find Legit Work At Home Options

For those who are running into financial difficulties, a little hope of earning money is enough to make them jump on their feet. Seeing a small ray of light, such people grasp the option without thinking whether it is genuine or scam. This ultimately results in making them the victims of the scammers.

If you are running into the financial constraint and if you are looking for legit work at home options, then it is very important for you to choose the option with patience and prudence. Selecting any option in a hurry gives full opportunity to the fraudulent websites to extort money. So if you don’t want to pass through the same situation as discussed above, then it is advisable to go through the below mentioned points.

In order to get benefited from the legitimate online work options, it is important to select any work option by keeping in mind the following points:

Check reviews of the source: It is very important to first check the authenticity of the source before taking any work from there. In this regard, the person must go through the reviews of the website in order to know what exactly the truth is. However, care should be taken to go through the genuine review website only as otherwise the whole exercise will go in vain. Don’t trust on the spam mails: If you get any online work at home option through your spam mail box, then you should keep a safe distance from it. Such offers are not at all genuine and are sent in order to trap customers. You should go only for such offers that are in your mail box from a trustworthy source. Check the email id: Most of the people get fascinated by the subject of the mail stating “Earn 0 now or opportunity to make 0 in 5 minutes”. They even don’t notice whether the email sent is originally from the website or from a free email id. In case you see such emails from the free mail account, then you should immediately put them in the trash.

These are just three important points that can help you in selecting the right source for getting legit work at home option. In addition to these points, there are many other points to be taken care of. So instead of joining any website for making huge money, it is important to act wisely and go to the trusted source only.

Make Money By Working At Home

Working at home is something almost everyone is either doing or has tried, simply because its one of the easiest things to do or try now a days. And you can make extra income or even residual income by doing this. There are people that work at companies, that can now work from home and still be with their kids. There’s also people that work for themselves with their own businesses, own products, own prices, own rules. And then there’s other people that are doing MLM or network marketing sites. And in some instances their are people doing a multitude of different things at home to make money. I’m one of those people. I don’t have just one thing I do, or one service. I do multiple things, I think that’s the best way to go, if you aren’t working for a company or don’t work for yourself with your own business.

I only say this because if you work at home and don’t have a safety net you could in fact get messed up. I don’t say it because you cant make good money from one job. Its possible, people do it everyday. But I prefer to have a few safety nets in case one of my ropes break, which has happened in the past. If you are going to work at home, either find something that will assure you that safety net, or do a few things at once. Here are just few things you can do to make money while working at home.

Become a call center agent

Sell & buy domains

Search Portals

Freelancing

Sell products of your own

Affiliate Marketing – Sell products of someone else’s

Provide web services – Web design, web development, web hosting, graphic design, banner design, SEO, SEM

Write blogs

Write articles

Write e-books

Niche Sites

MLM

Network marketing

These are just some Ive tried, but there’s a lot more than this! Sometimes, some of these “jobs” are more time consuming than others. Some of them are a one time thing. It depend on who wants to buy the service really. Take article writing for example, sometimes someone might want just a few articles from you in bulk, and then your job is done. Other times you might be lucky and find ongoing work from someone that wants a few dozen articles per week. Becoming an Agent, doing search portals, or providing web services however may be a full time job for you to do. Some of these jobs involve a one step process, others involve multiple processes.

Do whats best for you and whats in your best interest. But also try to be flexible. Ive always found selling things to not be my forte. But if your a good salesperson, go for it. Do the affiliate marketing. You CAN make money from this if you know what your doing and you pick the right niche to sell. I’m a writer, and Ive learned in the process or writing articles for people that I can write about almost anything. Its because I have knowledge about a lot of things, but its also because I can research things and come up with really good content. Focus at what your good at and put all your energy into it!

But if your air conditioner is not cooling things off as it should, you will need the services of air conditioning contractors in Houston. They can find out what the problem is and provide a solution so you can get the relief you need from the heat. Some air conditioning problems require an expert hand and the knowledge to determine what the problem is and how to fix it. It could be a compressor that has gone bad and needs replacing. Or it could need some Freon or even a simple filter change. Whatever the problem is, a good air conditioning contractor in Houston will find a solution.

To get a good air conditioning technician to help with the problem, you need to make sure the company you call has licensed and certified professionals who are able to answer the call. Also, inquire whether they bond and insure their technicians. This is for your protection and only serves to cover you in case something happens while they are at your home. Being available at all hours is a major plus when considering which air conditioning company to call. Providing emergency service to customers is important because you never know when your air conditioner in Houston will break down. They do not always choose the best times to break down. For instance, it could happen at night, on the weekend or on a holiday. Whenever it happens, you do not want to be without it long, especially in the Houston heat.

Some other things to inquire about include:

·    Do their air conditioning contractors in Houston provide free estimates? – You want to approve the price before they start working
·    Do they provide money-back guarantees? – If you are not satisfied with the work, do you get the option of having them do it again at no extra charge?
·    What kind of parts do they use? – You only want them to use professional-grade parts

Finding a work from home job that actually pays

The internet is drowning in work from home advertisements.  I’m certain you’ve noticed the ads claiming great things such as making you a millionaire overnight, or by being lazy and watching TV while making income.  Some of these ads are entirely crazy and the methods they proclaim you can make lots of cash from are even more absurd.  It is achievable to create millions but it takes a lot of commitment and effort – not necessarily tough work.  But you need to be aware of which ads are scams and which work at home methods can really build you real income.  Let’s cover a few of the ways which you can use to judge if it’s a hoax or if it is legit.

How could you tell what is a scam?  Your goal is to not be a sucker and make someone else wealthy.  This is all about you.  The intention is to create wealth for yourself.  Spammy ads most the time have large wording, generally in bright colors, and enormous sums of money in fat text, with testimonial posts all over only one website page.  The motive is obvious, to get you to see it, read it, and be in awe of how brilliant their system is and don’t reason and just pay them.

A few of the frequently advertised scams are kits for assembling products, kits for starting a business, data entry (the genuine data entry jobs don’t advertise like spam), pyramid schemes, posting ads for others, and envelop stuffing.

Work at home careers that work out in your favor rather than for their own favor don’t have you do menial tasks.  Wouldn’t you assume they can find anyone to do tasks like those for their company?  Work from home jobs that produce sustainable income require particular skill sets – primarily self-motivation and creative thinking.  Good opportunities will not get you to work for their company,  but instead educate you on running your own business.

Work from home pitches that are all about educating individuals to launch a business of their own is often a excellent indicator.  They will normally have lively organizations that you can join and available mentors to aid individuals.  They will show you how its done, show you what to keep away from, all the work you need to do and what normal returns are.  Scams tell you that there’s no labor or talent required and that there are no obstacles except yourself.  Do you see how they differ?  Keep away from hard sales pitch looking offers.  If it appears to look like a scam, you’d probably be pitching your money in the trash.  Look for the places that will focus on you and not themselves.
