No such thing as work at home job that is legitimate and does not cost you anything or any payments up front.

There is only a very few places you can actually learn how to make money online and learn the skills for doing so. They cost money and that is not what you asked for.

A legitimate and honest place for someone interested in working at home online is available in some forms… more or less it is information on how to do Internet marketing successfully and free, such as "bum marketing"

There is a learning curve and it takes time and effort to learn proper techniques and develop skills. However… this is not a typical employer giving you a job to work at home online with though. What Internet marketing typically is in reality, is you working for yourself and not as an employee of a company online. …and that is also not what you asked for as well.

I wish I had a comprehensive answer for you kiddo, …but the reality is that you will not likely find gainful employment with a business offering positions online to work at home for you. It is more or less going to be a resource site that teaches you instead how to make money for yourself at your own online business.

Unfortunately the majority of everything you see online which regards this topic is trying to scam you with promises of fabulous wealth working at home online easily, and effortlessly, …and usually in just minutes. I know you've seen them out there. The programs and resources that promise some magic formula or guru secret that will allow you to start making money the first day and become instantly wealthy?

Truth is… there is no such thing. It doesn't exist.

Keep in mind that the Internet is full of scam artists and be skeptical of everything you read.

Avoid work at home data entry jobs where you have to pay a joining fee. There are some legit data entry companies listed on these 2 websites.

"If a company requires initial payment from you in order to work for them, they are not legitimate."

There are a few legitimate data entry companies but are not hiring and have large waiting lists (1-2yrs). The majority of data entry jobs you seen online are scams. A real company will want you to have skills inc fast typing, may want you to know MS Excel, and will usually ask that you have high speed internet. Once in a long while you may found one online on a job website but thats rare.

Now, keep in mind that some of those mentioned above might require you to have some equipment, software or a business license which, of course, will require you to pay for it. But these are really general expenses that come with the territory of working from home.

Also, since you didn't mention what TYPE of job you are interested in, I tried to find just general openings for you that do not require too much experience. So, there are many others. I would say that the list I've provided to you here is only about 20% of what is available.

I am a member of SOHOjobs.org and they have been very helpful. (They have also allowed me to repost this list for you here to help you). I am working from home doing data entry and editing and I really love my job. So, YES there are real jobs out there that do not require you to pay a fee.

SOHOjobs IS a membership based service, so if you want access to the jobs they offer, they do require a fee. (About $25 bucks). Once you become a member you will get access to all of the homebased jobs available each week and all of their other services. I've found this to be most helpful so I highly support SOHOjobs. In fact, I'd call myself a fan!

The bottom line is YES THERE ARE REAL JOBS out there that do not require a fee. You just need to know where to find them and you need to have the basic requirements to qualify for them. So visit some of the links that I've provided to you here and see if you come up with anything that interests you. (Pay special attention to VIPdesk, Westat, Cloud10, Telereach, etc – as they companies have really excellent reputations and have hired many many people to work from home.)

Actually yes! I work for a company called WorkAtHomeAgent as a customer service rep. Its totally legit and matter of fact Ive been working with them since last summer. I take calls for infomericals that are on TV. Its actually kind of fun! Check out http://www.work4rmhome2day.com for real companies looking to hire you from home. You dont have to register, or even give them your email address. Just browse the companies and apply for the ones you like! Good luck =]

  17. Patsy P says:

Hey data entry can be good to help make that extra little bit of cash. I am doing it myself and I make about $1000.00 of extra money a month. Its good work if your willing to put some time aside to do it. Anyway there is a site

    http://my-data-entry.blogspot.com/

that has a huge list of data entry scams. Check the programs you are interested in there before you join any, also they have results from somone who has done a program. Anyway good luck.

  18. peace seeker says:

These are not only legit, but can be checked out through the BBB. I strongly suggest you do that before you enroll in any work at home program. Most internet based work at home offers are just a waste of time and don't pay enough for you to even bother with. Some are downright ripoffs and never pay a dime.
    http://search.bbb.org/

All three of the jobs listed below are basically call center services using home-based customer service agents. They all require you have a computer, internet, land line phone, good communication skills, and be 18 or older. For the most part, you choose your hours but the more you're willing to work, the more work they'll send your way.
