No one wants to be scammed but it unfortunately happens. It makes people interested in working from home want to yell, “Legitimate work from home jobs, where are you?” Luckily, you can find legitimate work from home jobs if you know where to look for them.
What are you interested in doing? Do you know? That might be a good place to start when considering working from home. If you don’t know what you want to do, how will you know when you find it?
What are your reasons for wanting to work from home? Is it just to get out of the rat race of working nine-to-five for someone else, or do you think you can do better for yourself by working for yourself? Do you want to work at home so you can be with your children as they grow up, or do you have an entirely different reason?
Do you depend on the benefits that you receive with a full-time job, or can you forgo those to reach for your dream? If your spouse works full-time and has health insurance benefits, perhaps those aren’t so important. However, you’ll want to give this some thought before making an employment change.
One legitimate work from home job you might consider is a home daycare. Research is necessary into the laws and regulations for your city and state. There are advantages, as well as disadvantages, to this type of home business. Not only can you stay at home with your children, your children will have others to play with, as well, and you will be adding income to your family budget.
If you have a medical background, you may consider doing medical transcription from home. With local doctors, dentists, clinics, or hospitals in your area, you may be able to get work from them. After you have been working locally for a while, you might even consider looking for other transcription jobs from remote locations.
Freelance writing and ghostwriting are other forms of legitimate work from home jobs you might want to consider. If you have a firm grasp of writing, editing, and grammar, you may find this type of work interesting and lucrative. If you’re still working full-time, this might be one way to enter the field while not giving up your full-time pay or benefits. Besides freelance writing and ghostwriting, you may also want to learn more about copywriting.
Is there other legitimate work from home jobs that one should consider? If you’re good with numbers, you may consider bookkeeping or accounting services. Begin establishing yourself prior to tax season and you may have more business than you can handle when the next tax season rolls around.
Whatever job you choose to do, if you’re looking for legitimate work from home jobs, you may want to begin saving money now for at least six month’s income. This is a precaution just in case it takes a while for business to get off the ground. Better yet, keep your regular job until you are earning as much from your work from home job as you are currently making. This will keep you from going under, which may be worse than being scammed.
Legitimate work from home jobs are available, if you know where to look. Check around your local area and see if there are needs not being met. If you have the skill to meet those needs, you may have found your work from home job. Begin researching on the internet to find different options. You can get a good deal of free training or information that will help increase your chances of finding that perfect work from home job. Do your homework; you’ll be glad you took the time when you see the end results.

I do make a living at home but it was a gradual process over about 5 years, not a quick thing for me. I started by taking something I liked, like going to garage sales. Then I turned around and sold the stuff on ebay. I concentrated on kids things (toys, clothing etc). Then I started sewing and selling my custom made children's clothing on ebay. I was always looking for new fabric that others did have to make my clothing stand out. From that, I started an on-line retail fabric website. I just sold it after only 2 years to start a wholesale fabric business run entirely from home. Next year I plan on producing my very own fabric designs. What a journey!
My advice, find your passion and see what kind of things you can do to make money with it. I know a few women that have boutique clothing lines, photography businesses, websites etc that all started on ebay. I think it is a good resource as it doesn't require a ton of start-up and you can do it anytime of day (like when kids are a school or when they are asleep). A great way to start on ebay is to go to their community boards and see what interests you. Read some of the past discussions. The ebay members give lots of great advice on what to sell, when to sell etc.
Good luck!
When I first saw this I was like “that’s a photo.” SO INCREDIBLE.
i missed your stuff man
You need to send your resume out to real jobs you are qualified to do.
In your cover letter you need to state that you wish to work remotely, from your home office. LOTS of companies, especially in CA operate this way. They usually provide transportation for you to come in for an interview and for you to attend company meetings a few times a year, but otherwise everything is done online
Hello Tammy,
I always wonder how many people are looking for work from home jobs, but no one write his/her education and work experience. Work from home job is just kind of any regular job, except it is done from your home and requires same qualification as for office job.
All employers hiring home workers wants work exp, job related skill sets and min related education level. You have to apply for a job, undergo hiring process.

It can be frustrating when you first start looking for online work. The scams far out weigh the legitimate opportunities out there. One thing to remember is to never pay to get a job.
A good place to start looking for online work is http://workathomedesk.com which is a free site with an excellent directory of legitimate companies that hire home workers. Depending on your skills or experience, you should be able to find several good leads there. Hope this helps. Good luck!
Hey will,, man could i get the mp3 for this tune??? please is absolutely amazing.
Yes there are mate.
Best suggestions are find what you're good at doing, design, video creation, article writing, coding and then make some samples up.
After you've got your samples do a search for freelance services forums.
Join these forums and read all the rules etc and become an active member and then try and land yourself a first job. Make sure you have a PayPal account if you are looking at getting started and also be aware that there are many people who will try and take you money by offering you pointless eBooks. While some can teach you something most are just making people money.
Best of luck…..
Start a blog and add adsense on it. There are many people doing it.
You can pick up info all over the net, use google, search bloggers or professional bloggers.
The idea is to have a place with good info about something, then people will visit it.
If you have ads on your pages when people click on the ads you get paid.
Each click will only generate a small amont, even only 0.05 but the more traffic the more clicks.
Depending on the topic you choose to talk about, clicks can be worth more, it's all a matter of testing and see what works.
All tools are out there to make your life easier.. at first it is very little money if any at all but when it starts to come in it will happen all by itself.
A the bb that's me!
it feels like my brain doesn’t want to believe that is a painting and more of a picture. haha
